An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter is a document from a licensed clinician confirming that your animal provides meaningful emotional support as part of your mental wellbeing. With a legitimate ESA letter, the Fair Housing Act generally requires housing providers to make reasonable accommodation for your animal — even in “no pets” housing, and without pet fees.
How it works at Ventarié Health
- Virtual evaluation — a real clinical assessment with a board-certified PA, not a rubber stamp.
- Your letter — if an ESA is clinically appropriate for you, you receive a signed letter suitable for housing providers.
- Ongoing support — we’re available if your housing provider has questions about the letter.
What makes a letter legitimate
Housing providers can reject letters from websites that skip a real evaluation. Ours are issued by licensed clinicians after a genuine assessment — which is exactly what makes them defensible.
Pricing
- ESA evaluation + letter: $150
- Additional pet: $50
- ESA Letter + Mental Health consultation combo: $300
